Geocaching
is a fun, exciting modern day treasure hunt with the aid of using a GPS (Global Positioning Service)
People hide a cache (treasure) in many places all over the world and people find these with the aid of their GPS.
There small medium and large, usually with some information along with it. Minimum is something with just a log book and possible a pen or pencil.
The fun is finding these and being able to inform others via the log book that you have found it and sometimes other comments.
